Napster

So I have Napster and I really like it. There’s a good chance you won’t like it, but I like it a lot, and I will explain why shortly… 3… 2… 1…

1) Price: It’s pretty cheap. Only 10 dollars a month in Canada, and only 5 dollars a month in the US.
2) You can get any album almost instantly! True, you do miss out on The Beatles and AC/DC but pretty much everything else is available!
3) Torrent sites and sites like limewire are great, but you can’t really find anything… like I doubt most of my music or my friends music is on there because it’s just not popular enough. And sometimes the torrents are broken, sometimes it’s not organized into albums, and it just takes too long, and potential virus issues. Napster is just instantaneous, no hastle.

But there are down sides to, and this is what they are.
1) You can’t put the songs on your ipod. This is a game killer for most people, but not for me because ipods give me a headache.
2) You can’t burn it on a CD and listen in your car: This is a little annoying, but what I usually do is just get cds from the library to listen in my car, and if they don’t have the cd, I’ll just listen to it at home on Napster!

And that is what I think!

Anyway, if you’re interested I have an album up at http://ping.fm/qjQDU and you can listen to me on myspace at http://ping.fm/b2Te7
